Replacing Google Podcasts

Google Podcasts is shutting down after today, so I switched to AntennaPod.

Some personal criteria I was looking for:

• Not Spotify, I already use that for music and I want to keep them split.
• Be able to keep a queue of my podcasts.
• Be able to change playback speed.
• Sleep timer functionality.

I wasn’t expecting the next app to be ad-free, but it was a nice addition. Being Open Source is a plus too! I’m taking some time to get used to the new UI but it’s been nice so far. 🙂
